Wednesdays seem to suit us all quite well so let's try it out next week again.

Sorry about my sudden disappearance last night guys - don't know what happended to my PC. I'll be giving it a good service tonight.
Next Wednesday should be ok for me - and I'll make sure I've got some alternatives ready to hand if we're still having problems with Maptools.

No problem. I could run some tests with you on some other night if you'd like to. We could try to figure out why the macros don't work.

Thanks Vesa, that would be a big help.
I'll let you know when I'm free (and my PC is ok)

No problem Jan, it can happen to anybody. My personal suggestion for next Wednesday would be that if anything, for any reason, does not work properly within the first 15 minutes, not to try to fix it on the spot but simply game. The tool is not the goal. Tell us the time for next Wednesday.

Actually, the 'virtual tabletop' of Maptools was one of the things that drew me to this group, as I'd never tried this kind of online game before - only 'play-by-email' and 'play-by-post' online games on forums. As you know I'd also never skyped before. Last night was my first international call, and my first group call. I feel like I am now living in the future - but I'm still waiting for my jet car! ;D But I agree - no technical hold ups next time. Game on! Game time 18:30 UTC worked well for me (enough time for my girlfriend and I to eat and see each other between work and our respective games; Wednesday is a WoW raid night for her).

Some super-annoying news I am afraid,
after making my new apartment looking like a library warehouse because of a water leak (had to open all boxes but four/five to assess the water damage), I realised with horror that my Kalamar material is nowhere to be found. There are a few scenarios there:
a) they were forgotten in one of the boxes at my place in Greece (unknown but ok, this kind of things happen), b) I brought them to Brussels in the previous patch of transfers and thus are still in the few unopened boxes from my local move (highly unlikely, I don't remember doing that but by far the best scenario), c) I moved them to Athens to pick them up and left them at my aunt's place (highly unlikely but still ok) d) they were on the only and only box that was lost in the move (the infamous box #74) and for which insurance is paying me 380 euro (the horror, if this is what happened).
Needless to say, I am super pissed off. All my Kenzer material was there (with the exception of the four KoK items I bought later and which I told you already I have here, as well as some HM 4E adventures that I also bought later), along with three quarters of my Greyhawk material, my D&D 3E rulebooks (and accessories) and a large chunk of my Dark Sun collection. We are talking about from the Ashes, the City of Greyhawk, THIS kind of material. To add insult to injury, the boxes with the most outdated uni books I had all arrived properly, as well as the worst parts of my collection like the trash from FastForward for 3E, the AEG supplements, some photocopies from role-aids since my student times etc ad nauseam.
The box opening will finish until the end of the week, I will be in both places in Greece at the beginning of December and will check, but this still leaves the #74 box. If #74 is the case, I am screwed in every possible way. Monetarily the contents of that box would be easily worth 1000 euro, and not to talk hobbywise and the sentimental value that they had. The only box that was worth more was probably the one containing the CoC material. This ain't right. My office looks like a gamer's paradise (chaos set aside) yet I am not happy.
Hoping for the best soon, and in any case, gaming in good spirits on Wednesday.

I feel your pain Antonios. Two moves ago I lost a box with some HackMaster books, the Zombies!!! game + several expansions, and a selection of my best painted miniatures.

Did we get some XP or Honor awards for defeating the weasels and accumulating Markus' pile of pelts?

Good morning, UTC and GMT now coincide. No further confusion for next time, whenever it is.

And UTC 18:30 is now one hour earlier for me which suits me fine and adds one hour more playing time. (If UTC 18:30 is still ok for all the others)

18:30 UTC is now one hour earlier for me, and honestly probably too early. My preference will be for 19:00 UTC.
Also, I won't be able to run this Wednesday (busy week) - is 9th November ok for you guys for our next session?

In for the 9th! [and the 16th, the 23rd and 30th, unless something goes horribly wrong]. I might have a few problems in beginning/mid December due to work. Don't know the exact days yet, but I thought of giving a heads up.
